Q. What is Ultrasound Cavitation?
A. Clinically proven, non-invasive, technology for deep fat removal, overall inch loss and size reduction
Cavitation is a natural phenomenon based on low frequency ultrasound. The Ultrasound produces a strong wave of pressure to fat cell membranes. A fat cell membrane cannot withstand this pressure and therefore disintegrates into a liquid state. The result is natural fat loss. What happens to the released fat? After disruption of the cellular membrane the fat in the form of triglycerides is released into the interstitial space between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolised to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source where as the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food. What this means is that by following some simple after care for 1-3 days after treatment (e.g., keeping very well hydrated and avoiding alcohol and other toxins), the fat is naturally flushed out from the body's waste and excretion processes.
Typically a course of 8 - 10 and/or monthly maintenance. Consider combining with fat freeze and/or EMSculpt in a course for the ultimate fat reduction treatment or with radio frequency for cellulite and skin tightening - see here.
