About Us
The Beauty Sanctuary, Sanctuary Skin Clinic and Longevity are are fully trained and fully insured establishments including specialist medical malpractice insurance.
Our lovely Therapists Emelie, Sarah & Layla are all minimum NVQ Level 2 & 3 trained, and in addition have been trained in all of the manufacturers procedures and equipment used on the premises. The team are all employed therapists, each bringing their own unique specialisms and style to collectively offer one of the most comprehensive range of treatments available. Our welcoming Salon Manager, Julie, knows all of our wonderful clients and treatments and has been a long-standing member of staff for over 20 years!
Sanctuary Skin Clinic is owned and directed by Jo Dodds - A Biomedical Scientist, Registered Dietitian, Skin Specialist and Aesthetics Practitioner. She trained in skin and nutrition out of a love for skin health and restoration and has chosen the clinically advanced and dermatological treatments, partners and skincare brands she knows to work, based on solid science and safety profile to achieve results in a very natural looking way. Jo is also a Menopause Coach and Nutritionist and has achieved her Masters in Nutrition & Dietetics at The University of Chester and various placements within the NHS as well as ongoing Functional Medicine accreditation and training with the Institute for Functional Medicine. Jo is regulated by the HCPC - Health Care Professions Council, registration number DT033020.
The collective businesses are brought together by a shared love of the beauty, skin, nutrition and holistic health industries and to offer our clients the widest range of treatments available, under one facility, with the utmost detail to client care and customer service.
We wholeheartedly believe in the development of any new regulations around the non-surgical cosmetic industries, and as such we are accredited by the CTIA - Cosmetic Treatments & Injectables Association and continue to receive advanced training, on-going support and CPD for procedures such as Skin Needling, Laser, Skin Peels, Injectables and other non-surgical treatments under the clinical oversight of our in-house medical prescriber. We are also striving for CQC accreditation with the Care Quality Commission. In addition, we choose all of the suppliers and professionals we partner with, based on ethics and compliance with quality, efficacy and safety.
