Cryolipolysis and Cavitation RF techniques have been shown by scientific studies to target specific areas for fat & cellulite reduction and quality & tightening of the skin across both body and face, without surgery, without downtime and with no scarring or marks.
Cryolipolysis is a single treatment per area (no repeat within 12 weeks), whereas Cavitation RF is a weekly course of 8 treatments. Both treatments can be carried out seperately but often they are combined within a course for optimum results. Each of the technologies have been proven to reduce localised fat by 20-40%.
Cryolipolysis (also known as Fat Freeze or CoolSculpting) is suitable for treating moderate and dense localised fat in both women and men that appears in different body areas, such as the abdomen, flanks (side of the body between the ribs and hips), arms, back (especially the bra area), male breast reduction / "moobs" (gynecomastia), knees and subtrochanteric area (hip to thigh region). The cooling technique penetrates around 2cm below the skin’s surface and is highly effective in treating and reducing adipose tissue in the surrounding area, without disturbing the normal temperature of the epidermis.
However, it is not a specific treatment for obesity. This technique leads to significant and lasting reduction of localised fat, but for more effective results, it must be combined with a dietary factors too.
Benefits of Cryolipolysis
- It’s a non-invasive treatment
- No anaesthesia required
- Significant and lasting reduction of localised fat
- Pain free treatment
- Reduces localised fat
- No scars on your skin
- No side effects
1) What is a cryolipolysis machine?
Cryolipolysis
is a breakthrough, non-invasive procedure that uses cooling technology
to noticeably eliminate fat without surgery.
2) What does it feel like?
As
the cryotherapy begins during the first 5 minutes, you will feel
pressure and warmth, after 5 minutes you will feel cold. In the whole
process the feeling of initial discomfort soon dissipates. Many people read,
work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment. In a
word, it's a fairly comfortable process.
3) How long is the treatment?
During
your consultation, we will discuss how much time should be
allotted based on your individual treatment plan. A typical treatment
can last between 30 minutes to one hour.
4) When will I see results?
You
may start to see changes as quickly as one to three weeks after your
treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two
months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing
so for up to four to six months after treatment.
5) Is cryolipolysis safe? Painful? Are there side effects?
Cryolipolysis
is CE and RoHS cleared and is
proven to be a safe and effective treatment. Typically, there is
minimal to no downtime after the treatment though patients may
experience temporary and pain or discomfort.

For optimum results, often a course of Cavitation is combined with Cryolipolysis - see the page on Cavitation and also the treatments & prices menu. This would typically be one extended session of Cavitation RF and Cryolipolysis treatment per area, followed by a 6-8 week course of Cavitation RF for the ultimate in non-surgical lipo treatment.
