Combination Treatments
Synergistic treatments are highly effective. i-PRF improves the skin health, thus improving results from other aesthetic treatments. i-PRF works particularly well when used in conjunction with micro-needling to stimulate collagen production and cell to cell communication.
A course of i-PRF can also be intermixed with Nappage or Fractional Mesotherapy or Skin Boosters, typically this would be in between i-PRF treatments or sometimes at the same time, however the treatment then becomes none-autologous. This is not necessarily an issue, just something to be aware of and will be discussed with you at consultation.

How Does i-PRF Smart Cell work?
A small tube of blood is taken from the arm (by a trained phlebotomist) which is then centrifuged to separate the cells, allowing the plasma to be extracted and used. The growth factors and platelets become trapped within the 3-dimensional fibrin mesh and released slowly to trigger cellular renewal, skin remodelling and stem cell stimulation

What Is the Difference Between i-PRF and Dermal Fillers?
i-PRF 100% natural, with no additives or chemicals added. Derma fillers are a synthetic gel for volume loss rather than tissue regeneration.

What Is the Difference Betweeni-PRF and PRP?
i-PRF does not use anti-coagulant or chemicals. The anticoagulant used in PRP inhibits platelet activation and therefore growth factor release. Once the PRP is injected, most of the platelets are 'lost'.  Secondly, the platelet concentration in i-PRF is more than double that of PRP.

Post Procedure Care

Immediately after treatment, there may be some skin redness (erythema), swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area.  This is a normal result of the treatment, temporary and generally disappears fairly quickly.  Depending on the depth of microneedling, skin may also become dry for a few days as the skin treated regenerates.  Scalp and hair restoration treatments can be a little painful during and post treatment.  Options for using numbing cream and/or cryo-oxygen will be discussed with you on consultation.  We will discuss possible side effects of i-PRF with you on consultation and also provide our out of hours contact details for if you have any worries or concerns - however i-PRF is extremely safe and as it is an autologous treatment, there is no possibility of allergic reaction.  Whilst the likelihood of these complications are very low, and we only use our trained safe methods to draw blood, microneedle and inject and the most reputable of medical device regulated (CE) products if skin boosting or mesotherapy is also carried out, we take your safety very seriously and we are available for any questions or visit post treatment and encourage you to be in touch in the days following to ensure everything has settled as expected.  We are fully trained to recognise any complications and deal with issues in the unlikely event that these should arise.   Full medical and signed consent required prior to any treatment.  

i-PRF Smart Cell System Prices
For Face, Neck, Décolleté, Hands, Body and Scar Rejuvenation and Hair & Scalp Restoration.
